5 Minute Update

Here at Busy Internet on Ring Road, Accra. Last night Kristofer mentioned how nothing on this strip makes him feel like he's in Ghana --this monster, air-conditioned, spotless internet spot; hankook tires; bar lounges; ex-pat sports bar, etc. But then again, that's what makes it Ghana, the blatant paradoxes that are so in your face you can't judge it. You just have to take it all in.

But I will have to write more later. I do not have much time on my internet card. Just wanted to let you all know that we are scheduled to meet up with our other travelling bean, Hilary, in less than a week in Cairo. So I have been here in Ghana for about 15 days and have managed to stay away from malaria and stomach parasites, but will not be able to leave without forgetting the life and beauty God has shown me here.

Oh yeah and can't forget to write, it's great being with Kristofer. He's lost so much weight! I was a little worried at first, but he's ok..he's also so handsome! hahaha.... Anyway, I realize I haven't forgotten to have fun, be silly, and laugh. I'm with my other half and I guess now I know that I'll be able to survive the next time we have to part, but that won't be until the end of March since he will be in Korea with me until then.
